BAM! I’m breaking into video! Can you stand it?! I’m really excited. I’ve been wanting to start doing little videos for a while now – but felt stymied by the TECHNOLOGY of it all. Many thanks to everyone who helped me figure it out. It’s really not that hard once you get the hang of it!
So now you can see me moving and talking – at the same time. Amazing, eh?
In today’s video I am giving you the EASIEST and most simple way to buy whole grain bread that is TRULY whole grain bread.
Why would you even WANT to buy whole grain bread? Well, because whole grain bread (and whole grain anything) is one of the pathways to lower your cholesterol, regulate your blood sugar, increase your fiber intake – and it will also help you feel full for longer. Grains that are processed and refined (white flour, wheat flour, potato flour) will barely do any of that good stuff – and they’ll spike your blood sugar and leave you even hungrier! Who needs THAT?
There is a lot of label ‘deception’ out there – and it’s easy to accidentally buy something that is NOT actually made with whole grains. My heart breaks when my clients tell me with pride that they made a healthy choice – only to discover that…..it wasn’t actually that healthy. They got fooled by the food label. Argh.
So I’m here to give you the ONE AND ONLY THING you need to look for on a food label when you’re shopping for whole grains. In the video, I talk specifically about bread – but this tip applies to ALL whole grain products (cereal, pasta, wraps, tortilla chips, oatmeal, etc, etc).
I hope you enjoy the video – and the tip!
